Our Smart Fuel contains Creatine, L-Glutamine, Collagen and Magnesium BisGlycinate.
While we haven’t conducted clinical studies on the complete formula, we can confirm that:
- Creatine is considered generally safe for most people, and early research suggests potential benefits for fetal brain health, there isn’t enough large-scale human data to definitively say it’s 100% safe during pregnancy.
- L-Glutamine is vital for pregnancy, becoming “conditionally essential” as fetal needs often exceed maternal production, supporting growth, immunity, and gut health.
- Collagen is crucial during pregnancy for skin, joints, cervix health, and fetal development, supporting elasticity and structure; and lastly
- Magnesium Bisglycinate is used to treat pregnancy-induced leg cramps, and the recommended dose is between 350g – 400mg.
But it’s always best to talk to your healthcare provider first, as some doctors advise caution due to lack of extensive studies, though animal studies show promise.
